@saloei I guess Rainey was a bit paranoid about Schwantz outbraking him like he did in Hockenheim. He left his braking too deep and ran out of room!! It was pure racing in the years from 1988-1993 :)

Doohan got away easy. Rainey was paralized!

Schwantz won because he kept his cool. Rainey's (anal)determination to win ultimately got the best of him. Doohan is fast, but you have to learn its not all about fast.
