Diving in Les Escoumins (Quebec, Canada) about 600km N-E of Montreal. Water temp usually around 34-38F year round. Abundant and varied marine life but very few fishes. Beautiful dive site and easy shore

  • OMG. what a truly beautiful video. nice music choice too. Do i need a dry suit to go there in summer ? looks so amazing

  • Thanks again for your kind words!!! I appreciate.

Very few people dive there without a dry suit. I did...once...my first time there, not impossible. I have a very good 2 piece 7mm Bare wet suit and it's OK, however hands and feet will get very cold. The body it's OK. Imagine walking outside in the winter in -20c in sneakers with no gloves...for an hour. That's about how it felt. Plus the energy the cold drains from you will make you very tired and not doing 2-3 dives per day.

  • You were pretty close to where the salted water meets the inland water...

  • Hi,

I am not sure where it starts being salty but, it is alerady salty around there, just like regular ocean.

  • I must have watched it 5 times in a row. The images are truly breathtaking and the whole thing is quite inspiring.
