Lo que pasa es que esto es Bomba, no Boma y Plena. La Bomba se baila es algo completamente distinto la plena y si la vamos a bailar debemos saber que hay una diferencia. Esta mania de juntar las dos cosas es seguir confundiendo a la gente. Por favor, bomba es bomba y plena es plena.

I LIVE IN PUERTO RICO, and let me tell you, there r hundredths of dance companies and groups and of course they all add or try to emitate to the best of their knowledge... and everything evolves.... lots of examples in youtube... check out videos of plena!!! their steps r so modern, it doesn't even look like the plena i was taught when little... worst, these ppl still live in PR!!! so you guys, keep up the good work!!!

wow!!! that's great that ur teaching this in Berlin, too bad is not what bomba really consist of, but i see you placed a few basic steps typical of the bomba... my only suggestions is that instead of doing an AFRICAN ritual dance.... ur body needs to move to the music....
what ppl tend to forget is that the bomba is a dance where the drums follow along with the movement of the male/or female making the movements, not the other way around.... keep up the good work, u have an idea :)

I'm puertorican and this doesn't offend me at all. Actually, I'm proud that our heritage makes it all the way to Berlin. This isn't exactly the way boricuas dance, but it's an imitation. That's fine, we should be flattered. Alot of you just take yourself too seriously. Your "orgullo" is just arrogance.

...Un aplauso por intentar llevar un pedacito nuestro al otro lado del mundo pero como han comentado ya, en Puerto Rico hay muchos lugares en los q se practican bomba y plena y en youtube hay cientos d videos d cómo es q se hace en realidad. Esto no tiene nada q ver con cómo lo hacemos en Ponce, Loíza, Río Piedras y/o Mayaguez.
De todas formas, buen intento.
