I hate to say it, but you've hung the American flag the wrong way around.

The jujutsu-style stuff that we see before 2:00 and after 3:30 is pretty standard fare, though I've seen jujutsu/judo/aikido guys do it better. The ukemi is overdone and nage should be getting off the line of strikes rather than just blocking them, but I've seen much worse. The stuff in between, though, really takes the cake. These are parlor tricks with no martial application.

Thats funny as hell! Even if you don't feel pain it will still make you loose your ability to have children.....

@jtbullfitghter If you have EVER watched a UFC fight or even ever heard of it, you may have realized that you can easily combine Jujitsu with striking with other arts to make an entirely completely discipline. She is not dumb, she is obviously being trained in a "Jujitsu" style combined with striking. If memory serves, she was training in Kempo-Jutsu which adds striking to the style of Jujitsu she was learning.

@1:05 i'd prefer ju-jitsu too if they taught striking...there is no striking in ju-jitsu dumb bitch

funny thing is, ive seen ppl use ki like that without tensing up n all, i can barely use mine to attack let alone defend, so i cant be a judge here :D

@mickeyr87 don't worry about it, it is fake. Taking the shots are a neat trick, that is real, but the trick would never be used in self defense, so the system is a joke.
-
@CreotologyMartialArt yet it is a complete waste of time entirely as it is completely inapplicable to a split second self defense scenario.
Hate to say it. But its fake

And you came to this conclusion because...? Just because you are not able to do it or do not know anyone else that can, does not mean it is not real. Search online for Battle Ki or Combat Ki and you may find an old video of the Dallas Cowboys delivering the punches and kicks on 60 minutes. Neither 60 minutes or the Cowboys players would be playing along just to make it "look real" Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but it is very much real and effective. Thanks for your comment.

Were more interested in teaching people how to take care..on the streets in the real world LOL what a crock. If someone comes up to you on the street in the real world they arent going to wait till you tense up, breathe like youre constipated, then hit you exactly where you are expecting to be hit. Sparring and actual fighting is the best way to train for fighting,it always has been and always will be,definitely not these empty gestures of so called self defense showcased in this lame video.

You do not understand how Ki works. The videos you are watching were only us practicing. Through the practice of Ki you can take all the hits on the street without any tensing up, because you are always breathing. Therefore, even if 'sucker punched' you would still breathe out of it without all the intensity in the videos. Battle Ki is not to prove you are superior to others, but gives you other options to not get hurt when hit. Thanks for your comment.

Understood... sorry about that. I can understand trying to increase the tolerance of pain; however there is only so much that can be done with learning to breathe properly. If someone is hit in a way that jars the brain enough, there is no breathing technique that can prevent someone from being knocked out.

First thing - We will be releasing more current videos with better explanation, so be sure to subscribe.
Yes, you are correct - everything cannot be avoided, but the vast majority can. This is not a parlor trick. We teach a very select few these techniques and it is NOT pain tolerance. Without trying to give a seminar here on YouTube, it is about controlling the energy entering your body and knowing how to release it - not tolerate it. Hope this helps and we truly do appreciate the comments.
