First half of the Pleasure Island scene from Disney's Pinocchio. After seeing a fanfic done by John the Enforcer on Deviantart (based off another fic done by someone on here called Disneyfan01), I couldn't help but think of this clip, I just had to put it up ^_^

Due to a bit of sound distortion from the original video, this was synched to an audio track in a different format to make it easier on the ears, so I hope it doesn't fall out of synch o.o

Pinocchio is © Walt Disney 1940

Enjoy ^_^

  • Why aren't there any girls?

  • @EpicRainbowLollipop Good question, a writer friend of mine actually established a group of characters in a fanfic based off Kingdom Hearts exploiting that flaw.

  • This movie I have to say is the creepiest disney film has ever made. Pinocchio made me scared of donkeys like I shiver when they make a noise. Though I think this movie was supposed to be scary so kids won't do sinful things.

  • Admit it: You wanted to go. Kinda.

  • Huh, rewatching it I realise the significance of Jimniy Cricket being lost in the revelry, as that literally means that Pinocchio loses his conscience to hedonism.

  • @EpicRainbowLollipop It's almost like a sterotype that boys are prone to doing bad and girls are prone to doing good. Kind of like "Bad Boy" and "Good Girl"

  • @EpicRainbowLollipop Because females weren't permitted or supposed to do the sinful, dangerous, and pleasurable activities that males were allowed to partake in.

  • @EmberQZ912995 in the '40s in Italian old country? ok insert that into what i said and its still relevant yawn

  • @metaldude82 good question.

    1. At the Red Lobster inn the name of the place the coachmen said made J. Worthington and Gideon react in horror.

    2. I herd a comment from a sertant user on a video called Pinochio Jackass transformation by nikker1985 just find it on Youtube scroll down to the comments on it and select view all comments and find it after that you'll get it now.

  • @TheFacelessK This is the 40s. And it's an Italian story.

  • @EpicRainbowLollipop because when the story was written women didnt have rights so they could cook and clean they were always in the house, where as the boys got to go to school or learn a trade which would require them to run around town, so the lesson not to make jackasses out of yourselves might apply to everyone but only men would be allowed to do so in the 1800's where as little girls wouldnt be running in the streets no bad lil girls so there isnt a place for them

  • moral of the story: don't have too much fun, people might think you're an ass

  • @EpicRainbowLollipop The coachmen only asked for stupid little boys.

  • @emmasmith173 This movie was based on a very dark book so it makes since it would be like that.
