Stereo Black - Denial

Stereo Black formed in June 2003 when Lucas Banker was introduced to Logan Mader by a mutual friend. Having common musical interests, Logan and Lucas hooked up (for what was at that time) a writing session. That writing session turned into the first Stereo Black song. Over the next several months, the duo continued to collaborate and the union resulted in several tracks being written, all of which were nothing short of haunting lyrics grouped with catchy melodies and heavy hooks.

With a demo under their belts within a matter of months, Lucas and Logan casually hung out in LA with a well known producer and played him the rough Stereo Black tracks. After hearing the tracks, the producer felt he had something to contribute and was down with mixing and co-producing the Stereo Black demo. The producer just so happened to be Amsterdam's beatmaster extraordinaire Junkie XL.

In September 2003, Lucas and Logan crossed the pond only to land in Amsterdam, Junkie XL's playing field. They had one goal in mind: for Junkie XL to add his electronic edge and co-produce the Stereo Black demo. Shortly thereafter, the Stereo line-up was solidified when Jason, Clyde, Christopher entered the fold.
