@sundaeg1rl It's not intelligence so much as it is passivity and blind acceptance on what people tell us works

Lighten up freaking moms! This is hilarious! I am a mom too. Glad to see not all the moms are such up tight bitches.

why would you pop a pill to numb out a pain that is totally avoidable? when your back hurts, your body attempts to tell you that something is wrong with it. that you should probably cut out the activity that causes the pain. it's like instead of eating something when you're hungry, you head for a smoke for that it supposedly makes hunger more bearable. us — mankind — are complete idios!

This cracks my shit up. I'm not a mom, but I plan to wear my baby, but not all the time..like it the ONLY way to care for a baby. Most of us were never "worn" and we all turned out fine. Honestly I think bonding is great, but there are a lot of crazy ass people that over do it. I wouldn't want my child so bonded to me that they couldn't handle things on their own. I think it's our job to prepare them, not shelter them.
But that aside, I love this, it's up on the latest thing, great advertising.

Looks Like the F-150 Ad Lol

they don't cry because you never let them cry... if you did... you'd realize that they cry louder, longer, and with more gusto than a baby who was allowed to learn to self soothe... as the oldest of 7 "held babies", I can personally attest to that...

a little late but... carrying your baby in and of itself isn't bonding... apparently you've not seen how bored these babies are being worn while their mommies are power walking, washing dishes, walking the dog, chatting with a neighbor, and otherwise not interacting with said baby they have attached to them... j

Because people have the right to post it. Would you like that right taken away from them? Do you have the right not to be offended? No!

I don't see how this is even the slightest bit offensive.
Is it me or do Americans pop pills at every opportunity? If it's not painkillers then it's Xanax. You guys should be rattling!
BTW, this is a ridiculous advert. I loved carrying my baby. My baby loved being carried. And my carrier, like many others, was designed so that it didn't strain my back.
Stupid advert for dumb Yanks. I bet it was written by a man too.

Though I do agree that Americans use entirely too many pills to "remedy" illnesses (sometimes real, sometimes feigned), I think it's dismissive to resolve that it has anything to do with intelligence.
Most times, it's just easier/cheaper/sadly, more realistic for us to numb ourselves to the pain our bodies feel than it is to spend the money we don't have to go to the doctor over it.
You have to remember that our health care system isn't really set up to help us.
