This is true Golden Age singing in the grandest tradition. There's class throughout, with a splendid soaring, creamy line and legato, pathos and top-notch projection: Blanc was -and will remain- a true example of absolute maestria and class. His recordings should serve as guiding examples to younger generations! The end of an era and those legendary singers are passing on, one by one. We shall endeavour keeping their memory alive. All my heartfelt sympathy to M° Jacques and to all his Family.

a quel souvenir J'ai entendu Ernest Blanc sur scene dans les années 60 merveilleux Amonastro je crois qu'avec Tito Gobbi ceux sont les plus grands barytons que j'ai vu sur scene .
