Hey, guys!

Obviously I released a new montage of mine called "Lost Memories" starring "Z7TaylorZ7". That was the project I was working on for the last month. In my opinion it took way too long but there were some huge issues...

First of all, I would like to thank Taylor for his patience during the process. "Lost Memories" would be out way quicker but I got the named delays. Starting off with the Sony Vegas rendering:
Usually I worked with Vegas Pro 8 on this montage. I felt satisfied with the result of it so I started rendering it. But everytime I wanted to render it, it suddenly freezed at some point. After more than ten tries and fails, lost about 10 hours because of that shit, I had the idea to try rendering it at Vegas 9. Fine, I finally got it rendered. But after watching the result I thought: "What the hell went wrong again!?". At some point, more precisely at the beginning of the first fragpart with the four-picture-splitscreen, Vegas made a huge fault. It looked like if effects I put on these clips were turning on and off, each second the borders of all four clips flashed and so it was with all other effects. I was totally mad about that. This was additionally 3 hours of time waste. But it came worse:
I wanted to re-render it cause of the fails being told before. But then I recognized that all media-generated-files like text or solid colors (I made the borders out of them) were ALL mixed up together. As the outro being made out of them Vegas ruined my whole outro. That made me f*cking mad again. Of course I had to fix that. And again I lost much time cause of another fail.
After fixing these major problems, I recognized that two parts of the montage were pretty boring. The "M16 Streak on Showdown" clip is ment. Like you already realized, I have used it twice. Once at the beginning of the first fragpart and then somewhere in the middle of the secound fragpart. The only difference between them are the colors. One is blue and the other one is normal. As me being an editor who wants to make his movie as perfect as it can be I had to change that. So I went on and added some speed switches in the clip of the second fragpart to make it more variable. Working on the first clip, I added some rhetorical questions about how people keep the bad things longer in my mind than the good ones and if it applies to Call of Duty 4 as a dying game just to make it more interesting. Further it fits quite well to the theme of the movie, namely "Lost Memories" as concerns here playing the game Call of Duty 4 instead of the new Modern Warfare 2.
Of course I should not hate too much on my own project but the named mistakes/fails are obviously facts. There are still parts that I think they are namely beast. For example the part in the first fragpart where the music starts to speed up rapidly right after the reviews of popular gaming magazines, at which I employed them to show how great Call of Duty 4 came out and that we will keep CoD4 as a fantastic game in our minds. I think the syncing with the beats of the song went out perfect! That might be the best part in the whole montage. Talking about syncing, I mainly concentrated on syncing the gameplay with the music, like I did in my last movie called "Invincible". I want to intend that as a trademark of mine, namely precise syncing.

After all, I'm very satisfied with the montage as it is now after all that issues and frustrating moments I got. I will take your criticism to my heart to improve my future movies, that's I want you to comment on my video. Furthermore please rate the video whatever you think it deserves because this helps me to recognized! Thanks in advance for that. Again I want to thank Taylor for our good partnership and communication to come out with an entertaining movie. Thank you, buddy: Hopefully we're going to work on future videos together! Talking about upcoming videos, I might start working on a new project in the christmas vacations. Perhaps a dualtage in Modern Warfare 2. So, if you liked "Lost Memories" stay tuned and feel free to subscribe!

Greetings Nakbom
