Throughout the history of welfare, the program has been taken advantage of by many different people. There are some people that are having a hard time getting by, while others are receiving hand-outs, paid by the hard-working-man's tax dollars. States need to implement tougher work and more participation requirements. Hopefully, the welfare program in the U.S. will be reformed to the point where they are utilizing their funds. They need to make allowances stricter, limit the amount of time on the policy, and regulate the amount of money in the program.

  • if welfare is abolished the crime rate will increase, because people are not just gonna lay there and die the will rob and get food get arrested and then will be paying for there incarceration and attorneys which will cost more than welfare

  • @hanamid im not arguing to abolish welfare... the title is welfare REFORM which means that there needs to be a change in how the government hands out money

  • a large majority of people on welfare are like stray cats, you feed them once and they keep coming back for more.

  • Yeah im sure if everyone started working today 100% unemployment we would all hold hands under a rainbow lol

  • @hanamid But there is a large pop. in america that never had this "cleansing". They lived in tribes up to only a few 100 years ago, then thrown into the modern world by force. They are still having a hard time adjusting, but we are enableing them with welfare programs and lax attitudes. We are only kicking the can down the road

  • @hanamid There was a time, when the members of society who did were hung in the street. This happened for over a thousand years in parts of europe and the east. Over time the degenerates who could not function in civilization were fewer and further between.

  • @hanamid and i will shoot them

  • good video. let's allow people to be responsible for themselves!

  • helen keller yes i remember a film being done abot here ..jeff

I feel sorry for you since you are disabled. There are disabled people who want to work for the living but they were forced to be on welfare because the enployer rather hired an able body person to do the work for them than hire someone who have a disabilty. Look at Beethoven for example, he keep on working on his musical talent right after he went deaf. Helen Keler was the same way, she graduated from college with honor and she is both blind and deaf .
