ANOTHER WORLD - April 30, 1999
(00:00 - 00:35) Jake demands to know from Donna where Vicky is.
(00:34 - 01:14) Vicky goes to Willowdale to see Marley and insists that she listen to what she has to say.
(01:13 - 03:37) Paulina informs an excited Tito that she has the money from her trust fund ready for him. Paulina then begs Joe to tell her whether Freeman was blackmailing him about her selling her baby when Josie arrives. Josie warns Joe that Toni went to the District Attorney about his voice being on the tape when Freeman died and that everyone will suspect Joe of murdering Grant.
(03:37 - 03:47) Another World Theme.
(03:47 - 05:20) Josie urges Joe to take the evidence against him seriously. She asks him if Freeman was blackmailing him. She pleads with him to come clean, especially because of how conflicted Toni is about the fact that he may have killed Grant. Paulina then exclaims that he did not kill Grant.
(05:20 - 06:56) Paulina incriminate herself by stating that any wrongdoing that Joe may have done was to protect her. He urges her to keep quiet. Josie, suspecting the worst, asks Joe what would he do if he were in Toni's shoes.
(06:56 - 09:23) Toni informs Cindy that Lou Freeman has died. Cindy remembers that Freeman was blackmailing someone but won't reveal who it is to Toni.
(09:23 - 10:03) Donna warns Jake not to interfere with Vicky's relationship with Marley.
(10:03 - 12:19) Vicky informs Marley that only can Donna walk but that she is protecting someone from being implicated for Grant's murder.
(12:19 - 14:31) While Tyrone counsels Marley, Vicky notices the affection he has for her twin sister. She then tells Marley that she wants them to be close again and that she'll handle Jake.
(14:31 - 17:31) Paulina tells Tito she's got the trust fund ready for him in cash. After he leaves, Jake asks her when did Rachel change her mind about signing for the trust fund, to which Paulina replies for him to stop asking questions.
(17:31 - 18:37) Josie asks Joe to tell her the truth, off the record, as to whether he killed Grant or, if not, if he knows who did.
(18:37 - 19:18) Paulina vows to Jake that no one else will suffer for things that she herself did.
(19:18 - 21:02) Vicky promises to Marley that she'll help her out of Willowdale when Toni arrives with Tyrone to ask Marley more questions about the night that Grant was killed. Once Toni and Tyrone leave, Vicky tells Marley she thinks that the police suspect Joe of killing Grant.
(21:02 - 23:02) Josie warns Joe that Toni is on the way and that he can choose to run if he so desires.
(23:02 - 24:57) Joe refuses to run. Josie goes over all of the damning evidence against him and asks him if he was covering for Paulina. Toni then arrives with a search warrant.
(24:57 - 25:29) Vicky and Marley refuse to believe that Joe is the killer. Vicky intends to get Donna to tell what she knows in order to get Joe off the hook.
(25:29 - 26:08) Gary wants a minute alone to speak with Cindy.
(26:08 - 28:00) Gary tells Cindy that he doesn't feel anything for her or anybody.
(28:00 - 28:59) Joe asks Paulina if the police will find anything with their search warrant. Just then, Toni comes out with a press release written on a piece of Grant's personal stationary and asks them how it got there.
(28:59 - 31:03) Before being escorted back to her cell, Cindy tells Gary that he's the only one that really ever cared for her. Josie then asks Gary if he's ever coming back home to her, to which he replies they may never see each other again after he does what he has to do.
(31:03 - 32:19) Vicky tells Donna and Jake that Joe is a suspect in Grant's murder. Once Donna exclaims that such a thins isn't possible, Vicky and Jake press her to tell them who she saw the night that Grant was killed.
(32:19 - 36:13) Toni informs Joe and Paulina that Grant's press release reveals that Paulina sold her baby on the black market and that Joe was involved in the cover up. She then pieces together a scenario of Joe killing Grant. Paulina then comes out of her numbed state and confesses that she is the one who killed Grant.
(36:13 - 36:46) Coming attractions for Monday's episode, May 3, 1999.
