Handguns in Canada for self defense?????? watch this vid.

@peguinclubmodder How about all those who have quite extensive training, and experience with firearms, and support gun control? There are many many people who don't listen to the rhetoric on both sides, and makes their own decisions.
-
The fellow from CB who mentions coyotes makes no sense. His registered long gun can defend him from a coyote just as easily as a non registered one.
-
@tobascocat1 Agreed! Wendy is a stupid lying CUNT. As well as emotionally compromised. as she claims she's been a victim of gun violence. WHICH SHE HASN'T. She's just another Liberal idiot who's demented and confused.
-
the only people who want gun control are the people who have probly never used a gun
-
Wendy Cukier is a liar. She is funded by organizations outside of Canada, IANSA to name one.
-
we dont need a long gun registry, we also dont need a handgun registry or any of the other restrictions that are in place, bottom line is: when you make laws, they are only going to affect those that follow them, so all your doing when you make gun control laws, is restricting law-abiding citizens from hunting and defending themsleves and their families against those that DONT follow the gun control laws, and use their guns to harm people.
-
@chrism76 exactly. I think the idea behind the registry was to give some friends an easy job. I can't see any other purpose behind it.

Criminals don't register their guns.
Wether a criminal or a non-criminal who flips out, who owns a gun or long gun Registered or not, it doesn't stop people from getting hurt.
The Registry doesn't stop crime, take that money and hire/get more Cops on the streets is much wiser in my opinion.

Criminals don't register their guns.
Registry doesn't stop criminals and non-criminals who flip out, registered or not their handguns and or long guns, from comitting crimes and hurt people.
If the gun or long gun, which is supposed to be locked up or trigger locked and same goes with the ammunition, get stolen and messed with (unlocked) would still hurt people wether it's registered or not.
Long gun Registry doesn't stop crime, Take that money and hire more Cops.
who shes probaby some anti gun loser who wants all guns in canada registered so she can call in the police and take them away from all law abiding citizens wendy go fuck yourself.

Wow, She sure knows how to take statistics and BEND them. She also has a keen ability to find causation from statistics that are taken out of context.
Of course the Yukon has 3x more guns. Most people up there need to hunt for thier food. And since the population of Yukon is about 34000, it won't take very many gun related deaths to make an amazing % statistic out of it.
