Tenchi InTokyo: Matori's Revenge - Trailer

Here's an idea I've had a while now concerning a continuing series (or at the very least a Tenchi in Tokyo movie).

Premise: The overall concept chronicles the return of Sakuya Kumashiro with a few major complications.

Summary: A few weeks have passed since Tenchi returned to Okayama from his disastrous stint into Tokyo. During this period some members of the household have had time to reflect on Sakuya's amiable personality (having each personally met her on several different occasions) and feel that after the events of the Yugi confrontation that took place, they are no longer threatened by the inclusion of her as an outsider. They decide to ask Washu for a way in which to bring her back through her technological expertise.

The family takes a secret ballot to decide the outcome and nearly everyone agrees to it 6 to 1. (Tenchi surprisingly being the one to initially vote against it, but changes his mind once he sees how everyone else feels about it) It's unanimous, Sakuya will be brought back through technology.

Washu immediately gets to work on the project and not long after creates a serum that she claims will extract a specific cranial pattern of Sakuya's (her personality)from Yugi's DNA.

That same night Washu injects Yugi's comatose body with the exotic concoction, but nothing happens. Frustrated and confused they all return home for the evening. Washu studies her calculations and finds nothing wrong with any of her equations.

The next few nights strange goings-ons and bizarre phenomena occur. Weird sightings and disappearing items spook everyone, even Ryoko. Everyone is nearly paralyzed with fear as they begin to suspect that they are being haunted by a vengeful Sakuya's ghost.

As the young group of hero's investigates further into the mystery they find that the reality is much more sinister than they had initially thought.

Thanks for the kind words. I really appreciate that. I never knew how difficult takling a project of this kind would be until I actually tried it. This is actually inspired by a "re-cut" trailer of "Mary Poppins". I thought, why not do that for Tenchi in Tokyo? Plus I already have a continuation series outline for a new show (or movie) written up...this was a perfect opportunity to combine one of my hobbies with another great passion of mine; Tenchi Muyo.
