  • I loved X6. Just sayin'

  • Also, maybe games like the third Devil May Cry and Dark Souls also go very far in difficulty. At least from what I've heard.

  • Gate Stage II was absolutely insane. The stage's only health regenerator, found in the first area, is defended by a swarm of seven or eight Nightmares. It's a death-defying act just to get it.

  • Beating both of Sigma's forms without taking damage is impressive enough, but damn! I don't think I could get through one of the boss re-fights without damage let alone the whole stage.

  • In what level do you game? Your are amezing. But I think you play in normal level. I'm playing in xtreme level and in the last stages (I play with falcon armor) purple square are faster and most dangerous, well i'dont know. I will try play with you in this part. Great video. See you soon.

  • You know what? I understand how crazy can you get doing minimalist runs. I tried to do an only buster, normal X run against just Sigma and HOLY CRAP was he hard. If I took 2 hits from anything it essentially spelled my doom, especially from his blue wave and purple squares. I spent about 5 hours trying then I gave up with sore thumbs T.T Props to you HideofBeast for being a beast at Mega Man games :D

Oh and you can actually avoid his blue orbs in phase one by standing right next to him ^_^

  • I never know about staying between the bolts @ 9:32!

  • Off topic first, but I'm interested in seeing what they could do for X9. Maybe a revival of the old SNES graphics, like they did with MM9. Or maybe even they need to remake the horrible parts of the series into what they were trying to be. Either way I'd like your opinion on that.

Back to six, I would agree that my favorite stage is Metal Shark Player's. It's the hardest, aside from Blaze Hea-I mean Pheonix's stage I mean. And that's tedium and pain anyway, so lets not go there.

  • You're definitely not alone in liking X6 like that. There's something about the game that's just enough sadistic to make me want to come back and try and kick its ass again. Aside from what you pointed out, it's an OK game. If they'd had a bit longer to work on it, maybe it would have been the best or the hardest game in the series. As it is it's still hard, but like you said, the difficulty is just so CHEAP in some places, and slightly insane in others.

  • Funfact: Final Sigma W, (the big one,) Is based on Gamma from Megaman 3.
