I had a team of Raikou, Gyarados, and Metagross, but I had no moves that could hit Shedinja (Gyarados had Ice Fang instead of Stone Edge). I switched between Gyarados and Metagross 6 times to lower its attack to the minimum with Intimidate, and then kept switching to waste Shedinja's PP and heal with Gyarados's Leftovers. Eventually I won the battle that I clearly should have lost.
The moral of the story is to ALWAYS look at your opponent's team before selecting your Pokemon.
