I'm a 47 y/o divorced male. I have 2 adult daughters. Both are single working mother and have 1 daughter each. My oldest daughter is widowed (Afghanistan 2002). My new granddaughter's father is an Arab Christian who is an Israeli citizen who had to leave because his student visa expired. You can celebrate anything in America. But there seems to be a clever manipulation in these events. "Purity" is soon to become a brand. like sneakers and car wax. A woman is more than her marital status.

@patriciacarrasco You are missing the point. Why aren't boys being escorted by their mothers as well? They are teaching abstinence only, there is no sexual education involved. Without sexual education how will your children know how to make good choices and properly protect themselves? As the woman said 88% of the girls that vow to remain virgins have sex before marriage. That leaves a lot of uneducated girls vulnerable to pregnancy and stds.
