OMG!!! This song makes me think of my son. The day he turned 18 they shipped him off to boot camp and to Nam for 2 1/2 yrs. He's 61 now and still has flash backs from his days spent there.
He was never a hippie except for his long hair
JUST SUPPORT OUR TROOPS WHERE EVER THEY ARE,OUT THERE FIGHTING SO WE CAN SLEEP AT NIGHT.

To Jimmymetis: If it wasn't for us, u wouldn't have a slave job; dancing and smoking nude on the beach? Sounds good to me; why don't u join the military? Fight for your freedom. Dancing and smoking nude on the beach doesn't go over to well with Islam.

I learned alot from the hip generation. Missed it by a decade and a half. Class of '85 here. Learned if you don't like it. you don't leave it, you change it. Visualize whirled peas.

A note to Jimmymetis----I am an original OLD HIPPIE!!!! I went to woodstock, and rode with the HELLS ANGELS for 7 years, and let me tell you the hard truth......You couldn't handle the life we led back then!!!! Don't try to blame the world we live in today on us, my generation done more, and even sacrificed alot of lives to the betterment of mankind, both black and white people alike!!!! Your generation just uses and abuses the freedom that we fought for......

Class of 67! They sent me to Nam on my Senior Trip and I didn't think I was ever gonna get back home. Agent Orange screwed me up. I'm still livin' in the 60's and I AM an old hippie. I love my wife but I still think about those kisses from my first love. Man I loved that girl. I guess you never forget your first love do you?
