yeah but how is that question unclassy? normally u dont ask about or mention money, but COME ON. we are all real people, and jk rowling is famous for once having been poor. its not THAT taboo a subject, in this case bringing it up is just being honest about the big pink elephant at least the "no" was an honest answer.but mabye JK rowling was afraid to say yes becuz of looking materialistic? if i were her, id smile nod my head, say yes, definitely, im vey lucky blah blah blah

class is about knowing when to not speak, be polite etc.but i think here, saying "no" is fake - puhleeaze, Jk Rowling KNOWS shes gonna be stinkin rich until her dying breath, she KNOWS shes gos a billion dollar enterprise on her hands.pretending she DOESNT sounds FAKE. Oprah wins - the same reason people will always love Oprah more and why she will always be the biggest star in the biz - she keeps it REAL. no lies, no snobbery, no fake modesty.THAT is class

it was an honest question, i think Oprah answered it more honestly..JK could have said, laughingly, yes, I still wake up sometimes and tell myself how lucky i am.....instead she just says "no". what was probably meant to be modesty instead came off as inexplicable - how, after making billions, can she NOT be ready to accept that shes going to be rich??
