Boys learning how to scull

After 5 weeks of rowing sweep (each oarsman with one oar each) the boys got the chance to learn how to scull (two oars each rower). They took to it like ducks to water! But the big surprise is that dad agreed to help, and for the first time in over 20 years rowed! I am in the stroke seat, Sam and Andrew 2 and 3, and coach Brian Benz is in the bow. It was the first time I have ever rowed in a quad.
We started out with the boys figuring out how to feather the oars while Brian and I held the boat steady. I joined it, and by the end of the video so did Brian. The boys were sculling within 5 minutes of being in a quad.
