Actually the only Suffocation song I can play. If anyone knows some other "easy" songs by these guys, do let me know. :) I only learned the harmony line a few hours before, so there are some mistakes, hope you don't mind.
Do you hook your pinky on your picking hand around the bridge pickup for stability? Or does it just rest on the bridge? Also are you strictly into death metal? I ask cuz there are some killer bands like After The Burial, Abysmal Dawn, and Whitechapel. Do those bands interest you?
@metaldad1967 It's either resting on the body between the pickups, or against the thinnest string. It's my default style I suppose, it does feel like it renders my picking hand more stable. I am into all kinds of metal, from neoclassical shredding to raw black metal. As long as it's somewhat decent.
@symendiola89 Thanks for the comment! I'm still using Guitar Pro at the moment, it's midi tablature software. But I'm looking into free drum software and samples now, for future uploads (I think I'll use them from cover #22 onward).
I really enjoyed the hell out of watching this. You nailed the minor third harmonies...everything, perfect. Definitely audition the next time Suffo needs a new guitar player!
