@zhestah I love this idea! Exercise and work at the same time, more free time for other stuff now. I love multitasking, it buys me a lot of extra time!

If starting to "pop up on fail [sic] peripheral lists" means "out of production," then we hope to rectify that problem next month.

Just curious- How long did it take to learn to type proficiently with one of those?
Zetorux 1 year ago
It takes an average of an hour a day for two months (30-60 hours of use) to get to 40-60 words per minute. Musicians and video gamers seem to learn faster than mere mortals. Also, playing video games which require the use of many keys (and which allow you to remap the keys) can speed up your typing learning curve.

My one complaint about the alpha grip is the fact that it really isn't any better for traveling. My fold out keyboard takes less space. I'm not quite sure what market you're trying to reach.
Perhaps if you created PS3/XBOX360 controller version which would allow you to play and chat...
Even then it seems like a steep learning curve for limited utility.

People use AlphaGrips as an ergonomic alternative to deskbound keyboards. They like to lean back away from their desk with their hands resting in their lap while working or playing on their computer. There are also AlphaGrip users who use it with their laptops while walking on a treadmill. In the future, we hope to produce an AlphaGrip smart phone which would have increased functionality by enabling comfortable, truly mobile, 60 wpm typing (see AlphaGrip iGrip Phone Presentation on YouTube).

Instead of typing, I use Nuance dragon naturally speaking voice recognition. Works better than typing...for me.

Do you use a keyboard and mouse or voice for editing?
