I'm Scottish and although I'm quite broad I've been told I still have a "posh" accent. As for dialects there are loads around different parts of scotland, I'm from the south-east but further north and especially in the west (like glasgow for example) they have very, very broad accents and use a lot of dialect words. Depends where you go really...

I love how you can go from one part of Scotland to another and their accent will be totally different. Everyone thought I talked funny when I moved down here from Aberdeen! Lol
