Here in Brazil there is still teaching politics assuming alumni have with them every single slide from the teacher's presentation for that class, and he goes on with such a speed in classes assuming the students don't have to write any other observations but the ones he states in class. It would be nice to not have urge to print and rely on digital support, but it's not like that at this time... Yet.
