Emerald City Design - Nokia Jellyfish

Window director Jonathan Baker sought out Emerald City to create this enchanting moonlit spot. Created for the Asian market, Jellyfish required a powerful 3D solution to create a shoal of photo-realistic creatures that could move and perform as directed.

Initially modelled, textured and lit in 3D, the Jellies were composited in 2D with depth passes and fluid elements. Originally shot day for night, the Emerald City team had to replace all skies to create a moody environment rich in
evanescent light.
