if that shit happened in U.S, the mall would be sued millions of dollars

Stop making retarded comments people! Naturally in Japan they are very efficient with transport such as this or on trains so they fit as many people on at once as possible.

Not quite sure what happened but if the escalator suddenly halted or went in the wrong direction, with so many people at least a few of them will become unbalaned and everyone soon becomes unstable. People could easily fall over each other and get knocked down.

happened in coors field in denver in 2003 and ppl werent smart enough or fast enough to get off and one girl lost part of her leg. but apparently it started speeding down cause of a screw up and no off switch..freaky
