i dun wanna say sth. rude. what i can say is disappointment. But there r so many different people in the world. and one of them is self-attributed, overconfident, pride and prejudice. I heard several "speeches" from this lady when i passed the state library. The best way is just to ignore her.

Having lived in Melbourne, Australia in the 1990s I bet he is speaking in Melbourne. Sydney and Melbourne indeed Australia has a very large Ch.Expatriate community, so he is very brave to stand up and speak like that knowing how rough ch.supporters can get with Free tibet supporters.
Interesting that Ch.People in australia would rather support the Chinese Communist Party than PM Kevin Rudd, probably the most moral conscious PM Australia has had probably ever.

Yes Olympics and Politics are two sides of the same coin.China will not be displaying torch all over the world if it is not politics, why bring to the top of the world Mount CHHOMOLANGMO. Now that people of all 3 provinces of Tibet protest for freedom, witnessed by world. China must stop saying protest was orchestrated by exile Tibetans. It is time for serious talk. If you opt for dialogue stop slandering HH The Dalai Lama, like civilized and responsible nation.
