@znorth54 you probably got the xlr version. send it back and buy the one that says USB in the title.

@2real2touch Ok, what do I need to start recording with the xlr version? I'm thinking of buyng a sound card with pre-amp...something like a ESI U46 XL, but wat kind of cables do I need to start recording? The one they give is a usb and I'm not shure if that sound card has a USB input.

i have the xlr version of this mic and sounds a lot better than the usb version. pre-amp versions are always better
