How this takes me back...wonderful times...wonderful memories. Songs were brief, then, yes, but so much was packed into those few minutes...emotion,great vocals, twanging guitars, drummers who put their very soul into every beat; the lyrics and music were "real" as there just wasn't the technology of today. We will never know such times again but without them, today's music would simply not exist...I am so proud to have been a "child of the 60's"..though "'teen" is more correct! Unforgettable.K xx

Jimmy Page did play lead guitar in this studio recording. From my generation's gift to all others.

Page and alot of other musicians in the early 60s werew still tring to establish themselves and alot of them were getting by as 'session players'. you'd be surprised who has played on various recordings from that era. so Page wasnt lead guitarist for Them but played lead guitar on Thems 'Here comes the night' as a session player

As a lifelong Jimmy Page fan,i can tell you that Page actually did play lead guitar on this recording,Phil Coulter played keyboards on it also.(i remember that as my mum was a Coulter fan)

it was recorded in '64, just after 'Baby please dont go'.

Im sure if Jimmy Page didnt play on it then he wouldnt be accredited for it as he is in various 'who's who',music books etc. its probably on that 'wiki' thing.
