@SouthwesternEagle Perhaps then, you shouldn't make statements like "These don't really "feel" like 80's commercials" without having a basic understanding of what 80's commercials "feel" like.

@bobafunky I don't understand how anybody could think that advertising hasn't changed in 30 years. Have you actually watched TV these days?

Oh wow I was just thinking the other day about my captain power ship/gun thing. I never had the tapes though I don't think. And is it just me or are today's commercials just lame after watching this lol

Oooookkkkkkkkkkkkk, that Cinderella commercial is a ploy to gear up kids for 1-900 numbers later in life??
-
I can remember some of the commercials as if they had aired yesterday, but others are a complete mystery to me.
-
I remember Friut Wrinkles! Fruit Corners was a small fruit snack company that was brought by General Mills in 1988, Betty Crocker is the parent company of General Mills. Yeah, I remember those dumbass 1-900 party lines for kids. Thank God no kid I knew was that gullible. LOL a VHS game. What a piece of shit no wonder Radio Shack and Hasbro scrapped plans for a VHS console.

It sounded like they said ``Lots of Fruity Marshmallow Shit'' at 8:10. I remember the Oliver and Company Purr-tenders they gave away at McDonalds.

@EpicSmartAss They had plenty of cash/shopping spree giveaways back then. This just wasn't one of them.
