agnes was great in whatever she was in. i think she was at least nominated for an oscar in this movie. she was the best reason to watch this movie and thats saying something since oliva devailand and bette davis were in it as well.

well done--most underated actress--she could easily play the old hag--i'm sure it was not much of a stretch for her to do that--she was a natural--good post thanks

Are you kidding? Agnes Moorehead was a class act. The reason she played an old hillbilly hag so well in this movie is because she was a GREAT artist. Look at her on Bewitched; she was just the opposite of Velma. As Endora she was ultra-glamourous. The woman had range and talent.
