Timelapse video of a mature supercell thunderstorm passing the city of Comanche, Texas on 14 May 2008 just before sunset. The storms initiated near the dryline in far W Texas and traveled to the east rather quickly. Terrain was pretty wooded at times, leaving not too much driving options but to follow the cell at its southern side. Note that differential motions at the front, showing rather spectacular rolls created by low-level wind shear. The cell lived for many hours.
