  • any updates for this area?

sure would be nice to hear 'bout it...

    cheers.

  • Ive been back 3 times since and found a few more but didnt get video of them. Actually I found 7 nuggets in this small 10 x 10 ft area. A little patch of nugs. All the others were under the big one as I took off some material to get down to bedrock and there they were. I havent found anymore, any where else in the area. Just in that small 10 foot area.

  • The Infinium is a great machine, but it is designed for gold prospecting and diving secondary. If your not going to hunt nuggets the the Garrett Mark II might be a better fit.

  • good job...

looks like you have the potential to find more there given the lay of the land you showed panning around with the camera... good luck!

  • Yes many old tailings at this site as there were 9 mines back up in this area. I have been back in that old mine with nothing much there but calicium on the walls from water. Thanks for the tip about the toxins as I have had arsenic poinsening before. Lots of iron bits in the tailings as with all tailing I explore, but no gold yet in them.

  • Do you think the AT pro is better or the Infinium for Gold nugget shooting in Rye Patch area NV?

    Thanks

  • Melt it into a round/ingot.

  • i dont know much about metal detector. What type of metal detector do you have could you send me a link were i could buy one and second question what type of stuff does it detect? Metal? Gold? Silver?

  • wewt walmart employee. glad to see im not the only person looking for extra cash

  • must be alot of money :P

  • @bearkat4160 It just goes to show they are still out there!!!! A metal detector is my next investment, doing the same thing with a highbanker or sluice or even a dredge is a huge more amount of work. With a detector it could get you into some good finds....

  • Man that must be such a thrill to find gold like that!

  • ...if your survey of the cave pans out you could siphon the water up to 30 feet

~that would kill the cave micro ecosystem if it is always flooded, which must be consider in your bottom line.

  • NICE FIND !!!

  • cool
