The datatag is often used in motorcycles but can be hidden on bikes too. For only £20 or so, you can insert a tiny device which has details of your name and address and bike details including frame number. If the bike gets stolen the police can scan it and return it to you. However, labels warn thieves the bike is protected. Tamperproof labels are put on all around the bike, including accessories etc and some are visual so thieves can see it is Datataged. For added security, postmark your bike with a UV and accessories from Tonbridge Crime Prevention Bureau 01732 876132. Then take a pic of your bike to help the police and place it near CCTV.
