i purchased 15 of these babies thinking they would be a great alternative to incandescent bulbs, but if you intend to purchase these and use them they dont last long. after just the first 3 hours of use 5 bulbs popped and started smoking, after the 2nd day 8 bulbs total were dead and 1 started melting after being left on for 4 hours, while it puts out intense bright light, and does not draw much power, they do not last long! don't waste your money buying these yet!

Great video, showing that LED's can be a good replacement for incandescent bulbs. About the same color, about the same output but a fraction of the power used!
