What a wonderful and powerful song this is. Christ The KING died for me on that hill on the old rugged cross. Someday We will see this world come to and end, and when that eastern sky burst open, My Lord and KING JESUS will I see. So many today thank there is no God. Let me tell you, would not be better to think God is real and find out he isn't than to stand before him and see he was real, for him to say..I find no record of you. What aday that will be when I kneel before my GOD!

I want to share my story with the world. The Cross made the difference for me, I was critically gun shot many years ago and I praise God and thank Christ for dying for me. Had it not been for Christ, I would not be alive today. Listen closely to the words of this powerful song. I'm alive today because Christ gave me a 2nd chance. I really am tired of people comparing all quartets to the Gaither Vocal Band. This is an awesome rendition and thank you for it.
I love the Gaither Vocal Band but will not judge all other quartets by them

The song was written by Bill Gaither and originally sung by the Gaither Vocal Band. They have it in one of their books.
