Ric doesnt like that puffy look... but I do. I am 43, 6´1 and weigh 270lbs no roids... so I guess you know my look... but why not..... it has its advantages also... strong, heavy and meaty.... I weighed half the weight I have now and still didnt have a 6 pack.. some people are just made for the puff and others for the cut....

Very informative post. I trully agree with what you said. I've been lifting weights naturally for over 10 years and the progress was slow but its still there. Nowadays due to some injuries i dont go so heavy but I can retain/shape them muscles with a more clever training. Working chest and back together also works wonders on me too. Its a fantastic workout to build size. Subscribed. No to see the other videos *prepares to eat omelete*

4:17 I'm 18 years old and that's how I look! Not trying to brag, but I don't look puffy at all and I see a lot of guys my age who look like that at my gym. I actually look decently sized with clothes on, but I'm not puffy haha thank god.

Supplements (NOT steroids) are grossly overrated, and most BB's know it. Eat a well-balanced diet with quality protein (fish, poultry), minimize sugars, fats, and highly processed foods, and training intelligently are the true secrets to a superior physique and outstanding, long-term health. Plus, you'll save a bundle in hard-earned cash. I've been training over 40 years, and although I'm not a competitive BB or PL, I would match my overall strength and conditioning against anyone my age.

@HawkReborn Thank-you :)

@Pogsel You will increase the weight. You want to struggle to get those 8, 6, 4, 2, 1 reps. :)
Ric..I love your videos. I'm a big Mike Mentzer fan. Did you see him back then? What was your view of him as a person, physique and a hard trainer? I assume you saw Platz too. Who are the hardest trainers you have seen. Loved the one about diet. Im trying low carbs to shift fat. It works but really struggle for a pump. Hope you will reply.

@thomasmichael1 I didn't know Mentzer well at all so I can't tell you much. Platz is a good guy and trained really hard to failure.
