No, it's luck and learning the enemy.
That you die 20 thousand times on veteran doesn't mean you suck, it's usually the game cheating.
As they said in veteran mode you die in reasons beyond your control, which is 90% of the times true.

Veteran is basically enemies are super accurate, and as soon as they spot you they shoot like 5 times at you at the rate of like 20 bullets a second, so yeah you die pretty quick, but that's because of the accuracy mainly, not to mention there are a bunch of enemies nearing the end.

woooow u like barly ever got hit how u dodge all that i cannot go like 10 seconds past 1:08. 'steer clear of open areas'. dude. im in the middle of a river. ITS ALL OPEN AREA. i cannot get past it at all theres just no escaping the chopper.
