This kinescope is from the days before videotape recording. A film camera shot the live video from the cathode ray tube, with separate picture and sound. I co-edited several of The Ed Sullivan Show Specials during the 1990s. We always had to adjust the sync. We dinosaurs know how to restore sync, but obviously not many care anymore as one can see major network broadcasts with stuff out of sync. Often news programs. Infomercials are notorious. Still, a great tune by one master, played by another.

Johnny Guarneri plays it better than Bix--although the synch problem is a little disconcerting. But thanks for posting.
