The officers at Wentworth Detention Centre are never slow to take the opportunity to dress up in their finery and make merry, so when Colleen 'Po-Face' Powell announces her resignation and intention to tour Europe, they waste no time in filling Anne's oven with savoury nibbles. As the punch flows and usually mute extras are also given the chance to let their hair down and utter occasional lines, we are treated to a rare glimpse of Norm Barry, the glory of Anne's sta-prest and waistcoat combo, Meg's maternity sack and slacks, and - most terrifyingly - Colleen's nun-cum-sailor outfit with matching glittery slides. But, in spite of her best efforts at social intercourse, Joan is left gurning to herself. Wouldn't you just know that she'd spoil the party?
Ferguson really is an evil bitch.

Yes, it was Sally Dempster who used to beat her little girl because of her uncaring husband! Just watched that episode last night and noticed it!

Scenes like this were great. It kind of makes you feel sorry for her and throws an insight into what makes her like that.

That's all the officers who are characters in the show. There's loads of background officers who are not at Colleen's doo.
