No Smoking

Hobbledehoy's 2008 entry to the Geelong Shootout was both an exciting and nerve racking experience, but after our triumph the previous year with 'The Roman Polanski Experience' we knew we couldn't just rest on our lorals.

A far more ambitious project, 'No Smoking' is the story of a near future where the entire populace of Australia is dealing with nicotine withdrawal - and it's turning people into zombie like creatures, craving a fix. It's our spin on the zombie genre in general - at times frightening, laced with black humor - it is one of our strongest narratives to date. Plus we got to COVER Blake in trecal ... which is always gonna be a good time.

yeah, we're always making something. we made another short earlier this year called 'in the margins' which we're trying to finish up and send to some festivals, and we're shooting another in early November. so ... i guess, stay tuned and we'll keep trying to deliver the laughs.
