Star Wars: The Holiday Special Part I

It feels like only yesterday I uploaded my first video on to YouTube. The first was sadly The Star Wars Holiday Special. Then I opened my second YouTube page under the name of theclonewarsguy. It sadly didn't last long, as it was shut down by WB and Cartoon Network. But it seems for the last year or so I have really neglected my page. I have uploaded no new or original materiel in such along time. But as of next few coming weeks I am happy to say I am starting a brand new Channel, which I will update more often and I will transfer over all my old videos but now in HD!!! So watch out for a Star Wars Holiday Special: Special Edition coming soon. I will notify you all before I close down. Thanks to all my viewers, subscribers and friends over the last four years. BTW, I love that look Luke has on his face at 1:06. kind of like, "I can't believe I agreed to be in this garbage Holiday Special, but at least its better then having Jar Jar in our movie. Oh, and Mititchlorians too, and boring dialogue with no discernible plot, and..." then fade to black.

The scary thing is that back in the day we were all so excited to see this - there was no home video, so besides the soundtrack album and novel, this was the only Star Wars fix available once the theatre run had ended.

But Order 66 was only about exterminating the Jedi so that Palpatine could cement his new Empire unopposed; the Wookiees had nothing to do with that.  Any Wookiees killed during the Jedi extermination were killed because they were defending the Jedi from the Troopers, not because they stood between Palpatine and his Galactic Empire.

As I recall, Kashyyyk was still the heart of Wookiee civilization when Chewbacca died, too.

I hate to admit it, but...you're actually right. o_o

Of course, that's like saying that pig semen tastes better than bull semen, but at least the Holiday Special maintained my interest--whether positive or negative--in one way or another.  Cut out all the parts with Darth Maul and The Phantom Menace becomes the perfect cure for insomnia.
