Grumpy Jii-san's been watching cartoons for way too long. But, after he watches one that revives an old favorite, he's ready to chat about it.
This time, the narration is recorded in Arizona's New Water Mountains Wilderness, where he chats about something a little more recent.

Good review. Been hearing about this anime and I wasn't sure whether I should watch it or not. But you convince me to give it a watch.

...You certainly had fun using photoshop in this episode! ^_^
I'd call this series a 'hamburger'--it's enjoyable and great for a quick fix, and maybe even tasty, but you know that in the long run, it's a middle-of-the-road consumable and nothing more.
As for the title...maybe Funimation is sick of the e-mails from angry teenage nerds that want the 'authentic' Japanese title? Some people are downright anal with localizations...

Yea, this series started strong then went off a cliff.

grumpy ojii-san I'd like you so much more if you were senile, have a raspy voice, and truly grumpy.

I liked this anime a lot. And I agree. I REALLY like how Funimation is releasing these sets in one go.
