One of our first videos with the GoPro camera (HERO 5MP Wide-angle). Nothing fancy (no tricks), just snowboarding and goofing around. Killington, VT, 4-19-2009

  • Windows Live Movie Maker in Windows 7 or Windows Vista handles the files. You can download it free from Microsoft.

  • what video editing software works well with gopros mp4 files?

  • So it is better to keep the pressure applied and keep everything at room temperature overnight, or over two nights if possible. DO NOT stick it on and go out in the snow immediately, or it will most likely fall off (I had that happen once or twice).

Just to be safe, I also attached a Utility Knife Lanyard from Lab Safety Supply, so if the adhesive fails I won't lose my camera.

  • Yes, I used the 3M flat mounts on my board and the curved mount on my helmet. The adhesive is impressive, but you have to apply it right. First, make sure the mount and the surface are at room temperature when applied, and clean the surface with alcohol. Then attach the mount and apply pressure (I stacked 8-pound flat weights on it). The surfaces will bond immediately like tape, but the strength of the 3M adhesive bond increases over 2-3 days like glue.

  • did you use the 3m flat mounts?? if so, how long did you mount the thing before riding? My friend put one on but it kept on falling off..

btw it was pretty slushy that day huh? heheh

  • fun

  • LOL! That song was so unexpected. Well done!!
