@TheVampireDiaries211 Seems that you have color-grapheme and ordinal linguistic personification since you see colors with letters and associate them with personalities. I cant remember the other names but you seem to have many forms. Visit mixsig.net and you'll definitely know the rest.

i did not know i might have it until i read the book A Mango Colored Space (sooo good!) and some people in the book expirienced what i am. i asked my mom and brother if they gave stuff personalities or saw things. they looked at me funny and said no. i genuinely thought everyone did what i did. guesd not

could you tell me what sort of synesthesia i have? i think that numbers, alphabet, instruments, days, months, weeks, names and objects as colors, but i dont see them in the color that i think that they are! i took that sound test and i heard like breathing in my head. numbers are in genders and months are set out around me. lots of my friends have synesthesia with the numbers and names and objects as colours so its pretty awesome :) PLEASE tell me what sort of synestheisa i have! Great vid btw!!

@xoxo1234321 It's not really a development as much as it is just... natural? For me I didn't realize I was synesthetic until a few months ago [I'm 18 btw], but in hindsight, I can remember that learning my letters in preschool and learning how to read in kindergarten is really memorable for me because I specifically remember knowing them by their color.
Math is hard for me because I have grapheme-color synesthesia. -_- Letters are wonderful, but numbers suck. Letters have a white background and they're really vibrant and easy to see, but numbers are on a black background and harder to see, and since 4, 6, and 8 are such dark colors, I still don't know their factors, even after just graduating high school. Guess that's why I'm gonna major in English. XD

@thehappiestcamper Haha! I tried majoring in biology which involves a ton more math than I expected.. So now it's either film/communications or english for me, too. =P

@winthorne that's really interesting! I've never thought about that before, but you're right. It would be awesome if we could find out for sure what's really going on with them. =]

Everyone says that 5 isn't purple and 1 isn't yellow.. :/ it's annoying >:/
Also when my alarm clock rings in the morning red wavy lines go everywhere..is that normal??

@selenaroxursox1 Yes! Totally normal. That's the audio-visual sector of synesthesia. =] I think it would be so cool to actually see colors, but unfortunately I just "feel" them.

@kweerb8 No, sorry, haha. Most people are born with it or develop it in their childhood
