The whole point of an MPC type surface is to be hands on, at one with the machine and IMPORTANTLY to take your eye away from the musically distracting computers screens. Good effort and all that dude, but really a bit of a waste of time.
Why not do one for Nerve software drum machine. Now theres a plugin that would hugely benefit from a touch surface.

have tried to sell your program or least put in beta this could easily be the perfect software and hardware combination. Akai would rule again.

what does your software run on? what connection does the touchscreen use to connections do the mpc? would you be willing to sell modification kits?

very clever! I had a similar idea in mind but had to put it off due to no free time to devote to it. I guess you simply control it through midi, yes ?
