Great Lesson. I've been a Howe fan since 1971. I have trouble finding Yes tab.Watching you break the Clap down into segments has really helped. I hope to post my Clap version in a month or so. Keep the great lessons coming and Thanks!..Gorzart

Wonderful! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and technique. Ive been practicing! This has always been a favorite of mine! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do the whole lesson!!!! You have a knack and easy ability to explain these guitar bits for me. Havent found somebody like you on the internet yet that is naturally capable and skilled at teaching. Superb, sir!!

@flowerdoodle Thank you so much for your kind words. I recently tried to do a video of the whole song, but got a bit bogged down in the detail, so I´m re-thinking how to present it. But, I will do one. I have also done `and you and i ` and will post it soon.
Thanks again...

There is a perfect transcription of Clap done by Conall Galagher, if you can find it online you should all look it up. It has the full piece transcribed 4 times in slightly different ways depending on which version of the song you listen to, with both right and left hand fingerings, rhythmic notation and notes on how to play certain harder spots. A truly amazing transcription, try to find it if you really want to learn this piece.

Eh ? I do know how to play this piece! I´m well aware of conals transcription. - and brilliant it is. Yet these fingerings are how I´ve seen Howe playing it several times. There are no ´wrong ´notes. just alternate ways of getting there. Howe, plays it differently all the time - check out his version with the trio !!!!Played on his ES 175 .

the last three notes are 12th to 13th on the G string. then hit the E.12th fret, first string.
