From Prime It Up and for the begining painter comes an end to end tutorial about painting a 40K Space Ork to a tabletop standard, beginning with how to prepare a metal miniature and covering basic layering and ink wash techniques to help you bang out your army in record time.

Please be aware that this was a trial run, and due to hard drive failure is missing a couple of bits (nothing that can't be logically worked out).

If you have any trouble with any of the steps, missing or otherwise, please leave a comment and I will do my very best to answer you.

A picture of the finished mini can be seen here: http://img382.imageshack.us/img382/8062/orkuploadii7.jpg

Enjoy!!

  • It's not a scalpel it's a hobby knife.

  • Using a scalpel blade. When I started many years ago all you could get in the UK were scalpels, so it's habit to call a spade a spade with me.

  • Very nice. It was a bit odd staring at a white table and your stomach though. :)
