Beaver populations have increased since their reintroduction into Switzerland in 1956. But the lovable rodents have to contend with concrete riverbanks and intensive farming practices, which encroach on their tree felling and dam building activities. swissinfo visited the river Rhine in an industrial area north of Switzerland, where beavers have settled but where life is still tough for them.
