SUPERMOTO DR650 corners & wheelies - motard cast wheels on DR650SE

Out with the DR650, Gopro wide angle video camera and the still camera for a bit of action. The motard cast wheels are working out nicely on the DR650SE, lot more fun than a DR650 with the trail wheels on the road ;-) Only got stills of the wheelies as the DR650 don't stay up long! no, they are motard wheels, 17 inch front and rear wheels. these wheels are from a honda cbr250rr.

this may be a stupid question but do you turn the dr650 into a super moto or is this a model that it comes in?? and if so how do you turn it into a super moto?? and after you turn it into a super moto can you still take it off road??

@onehitkill google "motard dr650" and you'll find a website with free info packs showing how to use cbr250rr wheels to motard the dr. the supermoto is a handful offroad, the bike turns a lot quicker so its unstable, and off course you only have road tyres. deadly combination! the guy in this vid said he'd never do it again, was on the verge of crashing the whole time he reckons.

Very nice editing and bike! I got an drz400e i did a motard conversion on. My main racing roads are as twisty as yours and she goes sweet on and off road. lol all id say is get some real barkbusters.. those plastic things wont do much but protect your hands from bugs and rocks.
