Funk The War, a students' peace activist group based on ending the war thru music and fun and direct action, took to the streets 9/1 in St Paul and were attacked by over zealous bike cops with bikes and "less lethal" weapons.

@databaseexpert Thanks, Gar! It is hard to hold the camera steady when a big ol' cop is hitting you with a bicycle! and getting pepper sprayed! That pepper spray has narcotic type speed in it to cause people to freak out! it is TOTALLY NASTY!!!

You may call me a hippie, a coward, worthless, etc. But you do not know me, or how I choose to fight for my beliefs. That's okay. You're not angry at me, you're angry at your own life and how it has left you empty and unhappy.

But first: You accuse me of not having a job, but when you find out I have three jobs you accuse me of essentially being greedy because I covet material objects?

I am an artist. I'm recently out of college. I'm engaged and am helping my fiance pay off her 100,000 dollars of loans, pay rent, etc. I don't covet any material items, I covet hard work, commitment and positivity.

Look, I understand you want live and let love, but that's not human nature. You and your, so called, multiple jobs (what one doesn't get you those things you covet) make you feel all cozy inside, but really don't contribute--as what I read into you is any indication...

@JemmetGK And I know what is worth fighting for and IF the time ever came to use force to protect what I believe in and love, then I will deal with that then.

In the meantime all you're doing is spreading negativity, and there is no need for that. It does zero good (except make yourself feel better by putting others down.)

But if you want to help the world, or even just yourself, I recommend you realize how beautiful, short and precious life is. And then love it. All of it.

@JemmetGK I work 8 hours today at one of my 3 jobs. One of my jobs is a company that myself and 7 close friends started. It's new, but growing. But thanks for the advice.

I'm not talking about romantic love. I'm talking about love for humanity. Mother Teresa, MLK, Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Buddha, your mom and dad? None of them ever helped advance humanity?

I know you're angry, but do you want to be?

We're going to blow ourselves up within 10 years if we don't learn how to get along.

You're exactly the type of weak, slacker I described. You've been nowhere, done nothing and know zip about how the real human agenda works and what the REAL world consists of.

Love is fine and dandy. I've known true, lifelong love, but it never did anything to advance humanity. What I hate, what has built up that anger is how your kind is trying to turn the human race into teddy bears. We as a species are less when people like you are allowed to thrive.

@JemmetGK Howss all that hatred and anger you got built up working out for you? I (honestly) hope that you've calmed down and learned how to be compassionate, loving, and non-judgmental human, instead of an angry, hateful, online troll, because...that must not be a fun.

It takes much more courage to stand up for Peace and Justice than it does to YELL! at people online with insults that have zero merit and can't be backed up.

Seriously, brother, learn how to love. The world needs it.
